We love seeing Hivesters building their careers with us at Hive so we are very excited to celebrate the following promotions effective 1 July 2022.

Rohila Rahimi has been promoted to Associate Principal. Since joining Hive from a top tier law firm in 2015, Rohila has shown adaptability and a diligent commitment to building and broadening her skills. Initially playing an important role in a number of significant capital markets and M&A transactions she won recognition in Legal 500 as an Associate. Since then Rohila has acquired new skills in energy law and continues to build her expertise in electricity, gas, energy retail and renewable energy and provide valued assistance to a number of major players in the Australian energy sector. Rohila says ‘It is an exciting and interesting time to be practicing in energy law and I am grateful for the support of a highly skilled and experienced team.’ She is an exceptional project manager and extremely efficient, skills which greatly benefit her clients, including those who use our HiveGC+ arrangement. Rohila says ‘I love providing our clients price certainty as it enables us to really understand our client’s business and their ultimate goals without the fuss of time recording’. In terms of what its like to work at Hive, Rohila says  ‘It is very rewarding to be part of a firm that is truly flexible and values creativity’.

Adrian Faelli has been promoted to Senior Associate. Adrian’s promotion is recognition that his capabilities and approach to his work far exceed his years of experience. He is an exceptional contributor across our M&A, commercial, privacy, energy and government workstreams including leading a number of Hive GC+ arrangements and transactions with our key clients. His readiness to share his knowledge and mentor others is reflected in the fact that the Hivesters love working with him.  Adrian says ‘I am grateful to Hive for trusting me with this next step in my career, and for the continued support.  It’s a special privilege to work in a genuinely progressive firm, made up of industry leaders who are not only great at what they do, but are fantastic people to work with.  I look forward to continuing some exciting and impactful work across our corporate and energy practices and achieving great outcomes for our clients.’  Melissa Lyon says  ‘Adrian joined us at Hive because he saw a real alignment of his values and the way we work. Stephanie Karas has been promoted to Associate. Stephanie joined us as a result of her desire to work in an innovative and collaborative firm and she enthusiastically takes every opportunity to develop and grow her skills. She has developed expertise in privacy, government matters and more general commercial, including being a key contact for one of our HiveGC+ arrangements. She brings her forward thinking and broader skills to play a part in our Innovation and Business Consulting team.  She makes valuable contributions to support our culture including coordinating our Early Career Hivesters Group, Hive Wellbeeing Committee and providing her creative flare to our social media profiling. Stephanie says ‘I feel very blessed to be a Hivester. I am grateful for my mentors and peers who continuously raise me up to be the best lawyer and person I can be. I look forward to developing my career in the most purposeful way I can’. Melissa Lyon says ‘We love to give Hivesters the opportunity to develop a range of skills which helps them to thrive.
