Seeing our people thrive and grow into new roles is an exciting time for us at Hive and we are thrilled to announce the following promotions.
Stacy Otis has been promoted to Operations Manager. Stacy plays a fundamental role in ensuring the successful day-to-day management of Hive. She consistently identifies and implements efficient and intuitive ways of working. She is also committed to fostering diversity and inclusion at Hive and has initiated numerous initiatives including the development and implementation of our Reconciliation Action Plan. In her new role Stacy will continue to provide a valuable contribution to the development, management and culture of our team and Hive.
Carlie Andrews, Chris Kaias and Tamsyn Vassallo have been promoted to Senior Associate.
Carlie is passionate about providing legal and strategic assistance to clients that focuses on their specific needs and goes beyond the traditional way of doing things in the legal industry. Her expertise includes contractual and regulatory matters, where she has worked collaboratively with clients to deliver efficient, commercial and creative solutions to problems. Carlie has been a significant contributor to the firm’s culture, innovation, business development, and junior lawyer mentoring. On her new position as Senior Associate, Carlie says she is looking forward to taking the next step in her career at Hive which provides a workplace that is collaborative, innovative and totally focused on doing things differently.
Chris began with Hive in July 2019, and has since provided great assistance to a variety of matters, in industries including energy, health, privacy, technology and government. Chris’ diverse skillset allows him to give comprehensive support to clients. In particular, Chris has contributed to Hive by leading the provision of technical privacy regulation advice to key clients. In his new role, Chris is excited to take on greater responsibility in mentoring and leading our talented junior lawyers. Chris is passionate about continuing to work closely with clients to solve their problems.
Tamsyn’s practice areas include contracting and commercial transactions, intellectual property, and technology. Throughout her work at Hive, Tamsyn has demonstrated strong technical skills and client management experience. She is a great representative of Hive’s values and has demonstrated her commitment to the team. She is excited to take on greater responsibility for Hive’s continual innovation and development and supporting our team.
Yubin Yang’s exceptional growth in his first year at Hive sees him promoted to Associate. He thrives in Hive’s team environment and has positively contributed to our culture. He brings sophisticated advice to clients and has demonstrated excellent attention to detail in his contracting work for clients.
