The undeniable benefits, for both firms and their clients, of working collaboratively through a global network was a key theme of the Mackrell International Asia Pacific and Annual General Meetings, held concurrently last week in Hong Kong. With over 100 delegates attending from 65+ members, the meetings were a great opportunity to meet colleagues, discuss mutual challenges in the industry and consider ways of working better together to assist clients across the globe.
Clive Mieville, Managing Director of the Mackrell International network, noted the benefits of members being part of the network – top of the list being the ability to remain independent while having cost effective access to a global network of like-minded professionals.
Hive Legal also had the benefit of describing its unique model through presentations and numerous discussions with delegates. There was a lot of interest in the presentation given by Simon Davidson, Principal, Hive Legal, focussing on how clients in the competitive Australian legal market were driving firms to change the way they operate, and how Hive Legal was at the forefront of that process.
